Next Board Meeting: Wednesday, Dec. 6th

Mark your calendars for an engaging evening at the Lyndon Outing Club! We’re holding our Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 6 PM at our charming lodge. It’s more than just a meeting; it’s a chance to connect, share ideas, and be part of the thrilling behind-the-scenes dynamics of our monthly board gatherings. Whether you’re a fountain of new ideas or just curious to see the club’s happenings, your presence will add great value. So, don’t forget to join us for an evening of collaboration and creativity!

In addition to our general meeting, we’re excited to offer community members the chance to join one of our vital volunteer committees for the winter season. If you’re interested, feel free to sign up at the meeting, or you can sign up here. We’re looking for volunteers in various areas, such as:

  • Kitchen
  • Fundraising and Grants
  • Bike Trails
  • Skatepark
  • Snowmaking
  • Ski Patrol
  • School and Community Events
  • Maintenance

This is your opportunity to dive deep into the community spirit and contribute to the projects and activities that define the Lyndon Outing Club. Every contribution, big or small, helps shape our club’s success and vibrant community engagement. We can’t wait to welcome you to the lodge, where your ideas and energy will help us craft an unforgettable winter season. Let’s get together to make something wonderful happen! See you there!

Snowmaking plans for the Outing Club

The LOC started work on bringing snowmaking to the hill in April. With unreliable natural snow and last year only being open for about eight days due to lack of snowfall, the Outing Club felt it was time to look at snowmaking. While there is much work to be done in the planning, permitting, and execution, the committee has spoken to Cochran’s Ski Hill in Richmond, Hard’ack Recreational Area in St. Albans, and others involved in snowmaking to learn about their systems and develop a plan.

The committee is also actively seeking donations. Below you will find the two latest status reports. If you would like to donate or help with the project instead of a monetary donation once we are ready to build, please contact David Wiliams at (802) 745-7115 or Wendy Beattie at (802) 626-9781 or email
