Snowmaking plans for the Outing Club
The Lyndon Outing Club started work on bringing snowmaking to the hill in April. With unreliable natural snow and last year only being open for about eight days due to lack of snowfall, the Outing Club felt it was time to look at snowmaking. While there is much work to be done in the planning, permitting, and execution, the committee has spoken to Cochran’s Ski Hill in Richmond, Hard’ack Recreational Area in St. Albans, and others involved in snowmaking to learn about their systems and develop a plan.
The committee is also actively seeking donations. Below you will find the two latest status reports.
