There is a lot of work that needs to be done at the Lyndon Outing Club to get it prepared and in tip-top shape for this upcoming ski and ride season. We need volunteers on Saturday, October 2nd from 9 am-3 pm. Show up when you can to help us spruce up the hill for winter recreation use, even if you have only an hour to spare. COVID-19 safety precautions will be in place. Please maintain six feet of social distancing if possible. Board members will help guide volunteers on what to do around the hill and lodge.
What needs to be done on the hill:
- Picking up trash in the base area.
- Picking up trash from ski runs and t-bar line.
- Removing fallen down trees.
- Removing trash.
- Put out ski racks.
- Split and stack firewood.
- And lots more.
What needs to be done in the lodge:
- Sweep and mop the floors.
- Clearning windows.
- Cleaning the bathrooms.
- Drain the oil out of Fryer.
- Cleaning the hot cocoa machine.
- Cleaning the soda cooler.
- Cleaning the refrigerators.
- Wiping down counters and beneath counters.
