Lyndon Outing Club Weather Forecast 2/24-2/28

Mild temperatures have been very helpful in softening up the snow, just in time for some turns tonight under the lights. Leave that extra layer at home as the mercury hangs around freezing this evening. A quick period of dry and cooler conditions comes for Friday evening. An even warmer air mass moves in for the weekend and offers highs in the 40s with an increasing chance of wet conditions later in the day on Saturday. Although a maple run is likely this upcoming weekend, you’ll want to TAP into some Spring turns at the Outing Club.

Wednesday Evening: Cloudy with scattered snow showers mixing with drizzle. Mild with temperatures fall to around freezing.

Friday Evening: Mostly clear. Temperatures around 30 falling through the 20s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with an increasing chance of “liquid precipitation” later in the day. Mild with high around 40.

Sunday:  Partly sunny with a chance of a few sprinkles early in the day. Remaining warm with highs in the lower to mid-40s.

Forecaster:  Chris Kurdek from the Fairbanks Museum with help from Zoe and Carter from NVU
